Sorry I've been missing for so long.
Life just happened and got in the way . My eldest became quite unwell at University - very unwell in a tonsillitis sort of way but worse. Was collected by hubby and 2 days later arrived home to sleep and get better.
Well ,the getting better wasn't happening so I told him to ring our doctors. Now it's ring up - doc rings you back and decides if you need seeing. So she decided he didn't so more antibiotics - despite nobody at this practice seeing him!! So GUESS WHAT - Myself then rings the practice manager - gets a call off a different dr who decides he does need seeing. Bare in mind his temp is 38.8 and I cant actually see down his throat. Gets there and Dr who he spoke to is running late so sees another who thinks its probably Glandular Fever so just in case though more antibiotics and painkillers.
Meanwhile we are trying to negotiate the University mitigating circumstances procedure - sick note in hand - no replies from most of his lecturers as they are on strike - oh and the dr says rest and no stress !!
Part 2 will be tomorrow as I'm getting mad just typing this up lol.
